Weaver Works, Inc. was started by Carlyle Weaver in May of 1983 when he decided to purchase a Ditch Witch trencher from a friend in Wolftown, VA. Carlyle ran the business part time while working for the US Postal Service where he had been since in high school. In October of 1988 he hired his first employee and in December he left the postal service and went full time with his business. Initially we had only the trencher and would dig to put anything we could fit in a 6 inch wide ditch. In 1988, we bought our first backhoe. Over the years, we have kept growing slowly and adding equipment and employees along the way. We now have a line of equipment to handle most any need. Most importantly, we have good employees. Nothing will be much success without good people to do good work. We currently have 13 full time employees with most being with the company for ten years or more.

Weaver Works offers a wide variety of services for its customers such as excavation, site development, building construction, plumbing, electrical, utilities, and project management. They also work with agricultural programs such as government crep programs involving livestock waterers, concrete troughs, etc. Weaver Works has experience in design and construction of riding rings and ponds. Weaver Works is now using a low impact environmentally friendly land clearing concept know as forestry mulching. This new forestry mulching concept clears the land of trees and debris without disturbing the soil and therefore eliminating erosion problems and cumbersome site plans.

Weaver Works, Inc. Is a Class "A" licensed contractor, fully insured and bonded.
