About Us
Established in 1994, Doherty Plumbing Co., Inc. began as a small, family owned, commercial plumbing company. We are still family owned but have expanded to a full service plumbing group with many crews working all over the Washington DC metro area. We are still pleasing General Contractors in the construction of large and small commercial properties, but we have added a service department to serve businesses’ and home owners’ service and remodel needs.

A value-adding service we provide is design build. Our estimating department can work with you to insure you have the right number and allocation of fixtures and piping. We then design and draw the layout according to current plumbing code and work with the county to gain approval for this design. We have designed projects ranging from tenant fit-ups to multi-unit towers and large complexes.

At Doherty Plumbing safety is a priority. Our equipment operators are trained and licensed for the machines they use. All foremen are First Aid and CPR certified. Our toolbox talks are used to keep all employees up-to-date on safety standards and practices. Additionally, we strive to insure all safety equipment is in good working order and meets applicable standards.
